Software sales pitches are usually rehearsed, and most of them try to sell the exact same product to everyone. The vendor has a reason for the answer they give you, but I don't. I have absolutely no ties to any software vendor, so my only goal is to figure out if the tool actually fits the way your team works.

That's what this consulting is for. It's a reality check before the money goes out the door. It usually looks like one of three things:

  • Software and vendor evaluations: Before you sign a multi-year contract, we look for the hidden costs, check the support quality, and figure out what happens when the price goes up.
  • Migration planning: Whether you're moving your team to Microsoft 365 or retiring an aging system, we map out the steps, the risks, and the timeline so your staff are never left stranded.
  • A plain-language tech roadmap: We figure out what to tackle first, what can safely wait, and exactly where every tech dollar goes.

Sometimes the most useful thing I can do during an evaluation is tell you not to buy anything. Some businesses are doing perfectly fine where they are, and the real cost is just the shiny new contract. I'll say that plainly, and then I'll help you spend your time and money on the things that actually need it.

The second most common project I handle is the big move. Migrations fail when the plan is based on hope rather than a solid map. I map out every single step. I figure out the right order to keep your business running mid-move, and I build a fallback plan just in case something goes sideways. Your staff should finish the move knowing exactly how the new setup works instead of guessing at it.

If you're weighing a big purchase, planning a migration, or just unsure what to do with the tech sitting in front of you, the free Digital Efficiency Assessment is a great way to talk it through. There's no sales pitch and no presentation deck. We just look at what you have and what you're being asked to sign, and you'll walk away knowing exactly where you stand.
